At PKF Fire & Security we take fire safety and security solutions very seriously and are always updating our training and policy to meet the requirements of our customers, the British Standards agency, GDPR and the UK Regulations.

PKF is a BAFE registered company with our accredited ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 & 14001. Our Managing Director, Phil Kellett, is an active committee member of the British Standards for Fire Safety and as such he is involved and up-to-date with the continued development of existing and new regulations.

BAFE

BAFE Registered Companies have been independently assessed to determine quality evidence of their competency to confidently deliver specific fire safety services. BAFE Registered providers can have peace of mind that their fire safety compliance requirements are being fulfilled by a provider with quality evidence of their competency for specific services.The BAFE Fire Safety Register offers a comprehensive record of Certificated competent providers for business owners, property managers, facility managers, specifiers and others who require assistance in managing their fire safety responsibilities and obligations.

F.I.A.

The FIA is the largest fire protection trade association in Europe and represent a significant proportion of the industry and are a major provider of fire safety training. Their main objectives are to promote, improve and perfect fire protection methods, devices, services and apparatus.

FIA members sit on 50 different boards and committees, influencing developments and helping to decide how the industry moves forward. The FIA is the organisation that government and regulators ‘go to’ when they want to know the fire industry’s views on proposals and changes to fire safety issues and legislation. FIA is an affiliate of the British Standards Institution (BSi).
